What's in your wash & wax routine?
Just trying to get an idea on how each owner approaches their routine.
For myself...
1. Wash with Meguiar's Car wash
2. Dry off with the Absorber.
3. Re-coat the top with 303 protectant (very light coat).
4. Plexus on the rear plastic window (inside and out).
5. Lexol cleaner/protectant on the leather, 303 on the dash.
6. Meguiar's cleaner wax on the entire car.
7. Zymol Titanium on the entire car (smells really good).
8. 303 on the wheels (sprayed on a rag to apply).
9. Rain-X the windshield.
The entire process takes me about 3 hours to complete.

i havent used the absorber for several years now... try big blue- the absorber will be history!
also dont do the top as its never up! (but if yours is, i agree with 303 on it)
i do the interior first, so thats a diff between our processes, but also a personal decision.
and i prefer zaino on the body- again, personal choice.
i dont spend 3 hours on the normal detail, but can spend more than that if i am doing more detail work (wheel removal alone can take awhile if i am doing them in detail)
my "normal" process is more like z-2 followed by p21s, and takes about 2 hours.

I use Meguiars car soap, and will wash the car completely. After I rinse the car, I will re-rinse the car with soft water (water softener in the garage) from the top down and will make two passes. I then will pull it into the garage and dry it off with a chamois, including door jams, trunk jam, and engine jam. Once completely dried, I will take the shop vac and vac around the badging on the side of the car as well as the side marker, then vac the arm of the side mirror because water always leaks from there, will vac the rear tail lights and brake light, as well as where the spoiler is. Now, I consider it dry, and if I have nothing to do, I will use Meguirs #2, dress the tires and rear valance, then hit it with #3, will also hit the rims then.
I know it may sound stupid to a lot of you, but I get enjoyment out of cleaning my car. Fortunately, I am in a climate that allows me to clean it basically when ever I want. During the summer, I will wax it once a month, and the rest of the year every 6 weeks. THe Meguiars #3 doesn't last a long time, but the looks pretty when she has a fresh coat on her. My car looks great because I really take care of it. My neighbor will at times volunteer to help so I will help him with his to get it done faster, but I would rather clean it myself knowing the job is done right.

I'm rapidly becoming a freak.
Weekly wash with meguires shampoo
Eagle 1 Wax as you dry
use eimanns on the wheels (do them first)
use eimanns glass cleaner on the windows
use only mf for all of the above
every 6 months klasse all in one
Every other week, vacuum interior (unless it just needs it before that), and use klasse interior cleaner/protectorant on the leather/vinyl
Daily wipe down of interior with a mf version of the california duster
Speaking of the duster, I've started using one daily, followed by meguire's detail spray. It's cut back on the weekly washes unless it rains or gets nasty in between.
Monthly use 303 cleaner and protectorant on the ragtop
I also get a lot of fun out of cleaning her and keeping her looking good.
