Default Whats the proper order?

Ok so as of right now this is how I do my wash and wax days:

Wash the car
Dry off the car
Apply all plastic finishers, armor-all, tire shine, windex...ect
Apply a cleaner wax/Polisher
Remove cleaner product
Apply wax
Remove wax

I am using meguires #26 wax right now, but I love the feel of the claybar wax. I was also wondering could I claybar then use the #26? I love the feel of claybar, but the gloss and shine of the #26 is so much better. THANKS

you mean turtle wax claybar wax?
i prefer the real stuff... clay- its really not much more work and it is the real thing.

btw, add to your steps after drying,
"inspect"

if you inspect and find the finish smooth as a baby's skin, then no need for any kinda clay.
more info on clay and clay inspection:

and then if you inspect and find no swirls, no need for any kinda polish!
straight to wax.

i generally use the cleaner wax/polish to get the initial smooth feeling of the paint. then I use either the #26 wax, or the mothers clay bar wax.
