What would be the best way to paint caliper?

woops- just saw the decal questions...
but the answer is above- decalgal
one comment that i would have- i tried over and over to get the rear decal to work. i think they even gave an extra one. botched them all !! so only have the front decals on (as you can see in my pics above).

I did mine with high temp engine paint and the decalgirl decals, fronts and backs, you can touch the paint up with a q-tip if you miss any areas (I missed some spots on mine and had a bit of a "learning curve" with the front decal, oops) without having to take the wheel back off if you want. they look great and the casting marks don't bother me - i tried the sandpaper tip but that took AGES, i just used a huge file (one meant for metal) and that worked tons better!

Im sorry but the results you got can not be compared to what G2 paint gives you. G2 is much more deeper and glosier finish. the extra labor a effort pays offs IMO
P.S. All the pics I posted are blurry

I was going to do this and even got some high temp paint with "ceramic" that's supposed to be good for up to 1200 deg. F. Only prob is, now I've been bit by the track bug and will soon be doing more HPDE events and using track brake pads. Has anyone done this and had it survive a couple of track days with track brake pads?

What's everyone's thoughts on taking the calipers off to paint?
