Default What to use to stop windshield wiper chatter?

I hate it when it rains, I go to use my windshield wipers, and they chatter across my windshield. I tried spraying the Invisible Glass on the rag, applying to wiper blades, and it didn't work. I also tried spray silicone, and it only lasts so long, and leaves streaks sometimes. What do you guys use to stop this. I do change the wiper blades regularly, or if the are damaged in the least bit. I also try to keep my windows as clean as possible. TIA

have used vinylex in the past... gotta really rub it in well, let it sit off of the car (pull the wipers out) and then really buff it off

but my solution is even simpler:

took them off!!!

I wish I could take them off, but my car is a DD, so that's not even an option, even though it looks so clean without them

Whenever I've thought of chattering wiper blades.. means they need to be changed. I do it, and it goes away. Unless there isn't a lot of rain on the windshield, that's how I take car of it

is there any real benefit to the rain-X wiper blades?

I've had it happen even with brand new blades... Rain-X on the glass seems to help a bit... Basically anything to make the glass or blades more slick. Also is you use something to clean the old, oxidized rubber off the blades that can help - so like isopropyl alcohol and follow it up with a rubber/vinyl treatment like Vinylex or 303... let soak and rub off really well (careful not to rip the blades!).

I use 20/20 Window Cleaner ... I think it's made by Turtle Wax (maybe). I've yet to have any kind of problem with wiper chatter.
