what to use to clean my titauium burnt tip
Springs here guys... was checkin my car 2day.. there was some minor calcium build up... got some water and cleaned it all off... however it is not as shiny as it was like last summer... its sort of a darker less lustrious then before.. Would wd-40 work... will it be ok to go over it on the burnt tip.. any suggestions..

wd-40 is worth trying... also any metal polish is also worth trying-
whatever you try, first try it under the exhaust where it doesnt show. its possible that you could remove the blueing. if you do, its a pia to reblue- usually have to blow torch it.

will wd-40 as well remove the blue tip.. or is just metal poish that does it..
thats why i said you should try it underneath first...
start out rubbing lightly then rub hard if its working- if it works, then go for the whole tip.

thanks for the tip... another question.. will there be different reactions with titanium or staneless steal? ive got the titanium tip
and you can get the blue back. otherwise the metals are pretty similar to clean and polish.
