If its just a vinyl decal it should peel easy and leave virtually no residue! otherwise you might want to heat it up first with a heat gun or hair dryer, peel it using a razor blade on edge, and finish it up with some 3M adheasive remover. dont forget to clean the glass after all that!

lol that why i want to remove it
I put an alumni sticker on the deflector. I knew right away that it was going to be impossible to get it even remotely straight with the deflector still attached to the car. I removed the deflector (and it's frame) from the car by just undoing the too bolts (you just gotta pull the caps off the top).

Once off the car, it was very easy to measure so that the decal was perfectly centered and perfectly straight in relation to the bottom edge of the plexiglass.

My decal came as the typical three layers, the substrate, the actual decal, and the backing. I taped the backing to the plexi surface with on long piece of tape on the bottom. This allowed me to measure and move it if necessary. Once perfectly straight and centered, I folded the decal over using the tape as a 'hinge,' removed the substrate later, and then folded back placing the decal onto the plexi. I rubbed from the inside out making sure there were no bubbles, then removed the backing layer and the tape. Perfectly straight with little fuss.

The tape-hinge method works great on the three-layer vinyl decals as well as the two-layer acetate-looking interior decals.

As far a removing the sticker, as others have already mention, it should come right off if it's vinyl. Maybe use a hair dryer or take it off after being in the sun.

Update:

No ether on the deflector if it's plexiglas. On real glas glas it removes glue very well.

They are just vinyl stickers... they should just peel right off. Clean up with glass cleaner(you might not even need it unless they've been on for a while.

That's a Mugen top... it has no defroster lines. That sticker looks like its on the outside and it looks like vinyl... just peel it off dude, and clean the glass with a good glass cleaner. 2 minute job.
mugen top doesnt not have glass, its lexan. very easy to scratch. ask me how i know? the one i bought used from S2X has scratches from trying to remove a mugen sticker.

honestly, i would just try to buy a new rear window. i plan to do that once my car is finally done.

You should be able to remove vinyl stickers without leaving any marks at all.
