Default What order?

My current process is Wash, Clay, Synth Wax, Carnauba Wax. I've never used any sort of sealants, polishes, glazes, paint cleaners, etc... So I was wondering, if I did, what order would you apply all of this stuff?

wash>clay>wash>dry>polish<sealant>[glaze]carnauba wax

But if the glaze is polymer based your order is also correct

no need to use a glaze and a sealant. your wasting product and time. I used to like glaze a lot more before i tried sealant.

wash/dry/clay/compund(if necessary)/polish/sealant/synth wax (if you choose)/carnuba.

also try a good car soap like poorboys super slick and suds. I have a mitt dedicated strictly for paint, and another for the wheels.

any other questions, just shoot me a pm.

glaze has fillers and will hide swirls more, but sealant has o fillers and produces a better shine. Also, use the sealant after polishing as most like to adhere to "bare" paint.

What do you mean by compound? Like a paint cleaner?

What polish and sealant would you guys recommend? I'm looking for something that's not super abrasive and can be applied by hand (I don't have a PC nor do I plan on purchasing one in the near future). Also keep in mind that swirls don't really show up prominently on my color anyway so maybe all I really need is a glaze?. Klasse AIO seems to be pretty popular 1 step solution, however if there are separate polish/glaze and sealant products that you can recommend then I don't mind that at all either if it works well.

a compound is more like a very aggressive polish if you want to think about it that way. most likely you don't need this.

concerning polish and sealant, i've been using jeff werkstatt prime strong and acryllic jett trigger (supposedly improved versions of klasse aio/sg).

decent results by hand. the protection and shine is there. i've found one application of the sealant lasted 5 months on my girlfriend's rav4 through the winter, sitting outside.

i've been meaning to try out chemical guy's jetseal 109 to be my new sealant though.

if you are looking to get rid of swirls by hand, good luck. even with a glaze, it is very hard/tiresome to do.

investing in a pc was the best investment ever. for the longest time i avoided buying a pc. trying to find the best products to use by hand. whatever i had attempted to "polish" by hand was EASILY done by the pc. better results in a shorter amount of time
