what do you guys use to clean the leather
I am going to be cleaning and conditioning the interior and I wanted to know what you guys use. I want something that will not leave a greasy film like layer on the later. Also what kind of car wash soap do you guys use? Thanks!

I'm sure you'll get 100 different answers to your question because detailing product selection is 99% personal preference. That being said here are some of my favorites . . .
For car wash soap . . . Optimum Car Wash (new formula)
For cleaning vinyl . . . Meguiar's APC
For leather . . . Zymol Leather Cleaner & Zymol Leather Conditioner
Click on the links to read my reviews of Optimum Car Wash soap & Megs APC.
As for the Zymol leather products I haven't done a review of them yet. So, I'll say that I like the cleaner. It does a good job removing body oils (sweat, etc.) from the leather and leaves the leather looking factory fresh as oppossed to shiny and greasy. The conditioner is one of few I've seen that actually seems to soak into the leather and again it leaves the leather looking factory fresh not greasy or shiny. Plus both products have a pleasant smell which becomes much more subtle after application.
Oh yeah! If you're cleaning your vinyl make sure you protect it afterward. My current favorite protectant is Detailer's Pride Interior Surface Protectant.

I just bought lexol leather cleaner and conditioner..didn't like the meguiar's wipes cuz things got sticky and way too shiny.
i couldn't get myself to spring for townsend or zaino products...although the lexol combo cost me almost $20 at pep boys.
I like the results so far.
I use 303 protectant on the vinyl stuff. About $15/bottle.

MY02, what exactly is leather, and what exactly is vinyl? I know that when you sit in the car, everything you basically touch is leather. But its hard to distinguish the other sections apart.
