Lookin for a good leather cleaner. What is good to use without getting that armoral finish ? TIA

i went to pep boys and got lexol leather cleaner and conditioner wipes. they have vinylex too for your vinyl parts. wipes make it easy stuff.

i used the black magic for the vinyl top. but i just got some aerospace303. havent tried it yet but heard good things. heard raggtopp good stuff too.

i do use both (townsend or lexol)-

with either you need a cleaner and a separate protectant

You use woolite to clean leather? I thought it was for cleaning fabric. Anyway, I've used Imperial Leather Cleaner & Lexol. They both work about the same, but the Imperial costs 3x as much.

Nope, It is a very good mild cleaner. Don't just take my word for it, search Autopia and you'll see

Another product that works extremely well (believe it or not) is Turtle Wax Leather cleaner and conditioner which is available at most stores.

Quite frankly I was never impressed with the Lexol products

Used a well known brand of leather and vinyl cleaner. Then definitely apply 303 to the vinyl (never Armorall!). Apply a good, well known brand of leather conditioner/polish to your leather, such as Meguairs or Lexol. But before that, you can alsy use 303 on the leather to give it UV protection of SP 40.

I've just used the new Sonus Cockpit Detailer and found it to be a really amazing interior cleaner, leaves a nice natural sheen - not ideal for leather, but for everything else it worked great. I'm not actually sure if it's for sale on their site yet (www.autopia-carcare.com) but it should be soon.
