what is a california water blade?
When drying with the blower only, does it leave mineral deposit behind?

I use the absorber from like auto zone.I'm looking for a better way to do it i feel that the absorber scratches because it so easy to get stuff on it.I cant wash at home cause the water is like salt water. But when i get it home i use the air compressor to get the extra stuff off.But what's the best way to dry without any chances of scratching.

Use Big Blue once to suck up all the water, ring it out well, then go back over again to get the rest. Doesn't take long at all, much quicker than a chamois. A leaf blower sounds like a good idea, but I'm still young. I'll get lazy later

I currently use expensive 100% cotton bath towels...
I have 3 that are for my car only, high quality, washed in warm water, always washed separately, and I ensure no fabric softener residue is in the machine. Also they are all towel, no embroidery, stitching or rough edges....
I use to use a Chamois, too much work and they also don't pull water out of the lines of the car ie: mirrors, crevices, etc...
I hate the absorber!!!
Have yet to try the leaf blower.
No matter what you use, always dry in straight lines and never in a SWIRLING motion. Start at the top of the hood and pull down...
Start at one end of the car and go all the way to the other...

I've always used the california blade, then finished off with a soft bath towel and/or microfiber towel. I've had a blower for ages, and never thought of using it to dry the car. I'm going to have to try this one out, especially since its getting very cold outside, so the less I have to be outside the better, especially with freezing hands.

Someone has read the zaino website
Although that is just what I have come down to doing after years of searching for the "BEST" way to wash/dry a car.
What it comes down to is nothing is the save all and every method has some downside or possibility to scratch.
