what color pad to apply compound?

Default what color pad to apply compound?

i just got my PC and want to do a detail tomorrow.

I have a yellow pad which i plan to use for scratch removal

white pad which i plan to use for polish

what to use for wax?

also how do i clean that pads after i am done?

i usually do wax by hand. or you can use a black or blue finsishing pad. I usually soak my pads in some dawn then, throw them in the wash.

I bought the lake county pads from de and my gf got me some sonus pads. I am curious. I want to keep the pads in good condition. Thanks

To clean them, you can spray a degeaser into them, rub it in with your hands, rise out, then hang to dry. I also think pinnacle makes a pad cleaner and conditioner. They also make pad brushes to pull out old excess wax and polish.
