A clay bar is a detail tool used to PULL contaminates from the paint. After a good wash run your hand over the surface for any rough spots. When you find an area use the lubricant and the clay bar to clean the area. I then rewash the area...then polish...then seal....then wax. With proper care you won't be using the clay bar too much. Hope this helps.

Pretty good description. Wait till you try and pull that plastic wrapper off. Follow the directions, you'll notice rubbing at first a bit of risistance then the claybar will literally glide accross the clean surface. Doesn't take much. Get some Zaino Z1, Z2 or Z5 on as soon as possible after cuz the paint will be completely exposed. No wax or polish left.

Clay Magic also makes a good product, make sure you get the fine, they come in several grades. Sometimes your car picks up contaminants that stick to the paint, feels like overspray. Mine did this last week, only got on the hood and tops of fenders and mirrors. You can use it with soapy water when you wash the car too, this works just as well as the stuff that you can buy from Clay Magic. Just make sure to not use it once it gets old because it retains all the dirt and stuff your cleaning off.
