Went to Dealer to have plastic rear windows buffed

My first choice to try to remove the polish(?) residue from the top would be a mechanic's waterless hand cleaner (Gunk, GoJo, whatever.) I'd brush some into the grain of the vinyl with a toothbrush, let it sit a while, wipe it off with a towel, then rinse the rest off with water. This stuff can be pretty effective, and is pretty harmless. If it doesn't work, you can then proceed to harsher agents.

Then re-treat the area with 303 or whatever you're using on the vinyl.

Do you have a 00-01 S2000 because I can't imagine doing that to the rear window of a 02-03 S2000.
