Default Waxing Inside of Door Openings

Every time I thoroughly wash my cars I ask myself the same question. I open all the doors and wash and dry the insides, both on the door and on the body side. Including the hood, gas cap door and trunk.

That's where I stop. Does anyone wax these parts? On the pro side, I can see it would keep things a little tidier down there. On the con side, it's a lot of work that nobody would ever see.

Thoughts? Or is this a repost? I searched and found nothing.

Absolutely!! I usually use a spray wax because it's a little easier to use. I also wax my wheels too BTW.

me too on both insides and especially wheels...

for the door jambs, i use a detailers spray that contains wax when i dry out the doors- have to admit that i dont do it every time... but the wheels get hit either once a week or every other week-

See your not alone, keeping those out-of-way places clean is just part of a thorough cleaning.

Spray wax. I wouldn't have thought of that. Any recommendations of something I can buy locally? I just stocked up on bulk bought online.

And Vanishing Point: no matter how crazy I think it is what I do, I find there's always someone else doing the same!

For this purpose, I would use Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield (Spray Sealant). But, if I need it right away, locally, NXT spray wax at wal-mart will do.

Yea, I also use a spray on wax for doors etc - the wheels come off and are detailed and waxed at least once a season (it make it easy to keep the wheels clean and to clean them up).
