Waxing, how often?
Can you ever over-wax your car, for instance is once a month a lot? Are there adverse effects of over-waxing?
Any input would be helpful.

there are various answers for this question . ..
no, once a month is not too much (in fact that is as long as some waxes last)
it also depends on the quality of the products you use . . wax/polish/cloth/mitts etc
one bad link in that chain and with lots of washing and detailing - you can adversely affect your cars finish
cheap waxes or polishes -
mis-applied products (or the wrong ones)
cheap quality wash material or methods
poor quality drying material or methods
etc etc
any of these can lead to swirls, mars - and just plain bad times.
does that help confuse or clear the issue ?
or do you have more specific questions / details you can offer us to reply back with?

I wax every 3-12 months, depending how much I like the car
Basically the front bumper and hood gets waxed twice as often, so that bugs don't stick so well.
After every wash I use spray wax detailing stuff to keep the protection almost as good as a waxing.
Eagle one wet look with teflon is what I like.

the car hasnt been touched since - (bad zaino guy) and when it rains, the water still does an excellent impression of something that doesnt want to be on my car.
i cant think there is much left on it right now though . . . so soon as i get a nie weekend - im going to ZFX myself into oblivion
