I have a set of PSS9s I will be installing this week. Just wondering what I can do to protect the stainless steel bodies and the the threads. I have a set of Buddy Clubs on now and they have a little surface rust, which I would like to avoid. Was thinking of trying wheel wax. Please note I'm more interested in protection than I am for mirror- like finish, as I want to do this once a year at most.

Thanks for the info. I might just try wheel wax as I'm going to install tonight or tomorrow, and I don't wan't to wait for shipping.

For short term external protection a wipe down with WD40 will work until you find your long term solution.
