Waterspot solution
The city water in phoenix is so friggen hard... ive looked at the small inline filters but I dont think that they would last long here. Its so warm this time of year that washing the car is very hard to do because you cant dry the car fast enough to stop waterspots
I just had a 3.6 cubic foot DI tank delivered to my house.... it is supposed to produce very pure water..... estimated effectiveness is about 1500-2000 gallons
Cost is about $100 for delivery and then $10 per month for rental....
Anyone else using one... if so ..... good experiences?
ill be posting my experiences as they occur....I just rinsed of my car with some of the ultra pure water and let it dry in the sun ... no waterspots are evident....
Ill keep ya posted.....

Hrmm this seems like a topic that would be of interest to this group....
no waterspots = a good thing!!!!!
Maybe I should have said that a DI tank is a Deionization tank that removes all positively and negatively charged ions from the water therefor eliminating all waterspotting......

Im using it for inline washing..... the water is too pure to drink..... it will leech minerals etc. out of your body and cause problems....
its is one component used in producing 100% pure water for industrial use....

There is no noticable loss of pressure from this tank .... it is about 4 feet tall and 14 inches in diameter ...
Ill post a picture.... ... it is not a small tank....

Sounds pretty cool. Luckily, we have pretty good water here in the Boston area if you're on public water supply. So, waterspots have never really been a problem for me.
