Default Water Spots on Side Mirrors

Does anybody else have this problem? I really don't know what to do...

I wash the entire car and it comes out sparkling and pretty - except the side mirrors. You can't really see it until you look closely, but there are water spots all over them! I've tried rubbing them off with a damp towel, no luck. It's almost as if the water spots are on the other side of the mirror. Am I just being paranoid, or does someone else have experience with this problem?

did you try a window cleaner?
if not use a diluted formula of lemon juice and water.
that might help

The Zaino glass polish works great on hard water spots. I used it on my girlfriend's Prelude which had the worst water spots I've ever seen. It took 2 applications with a small buffer but the windows came out crystal clear and extremely slick.

not sure if you mean the glass or the outside...
if the glass, then i agree with the above (lemon or glass polish)- or my first choice would be vinegar if glass polish doesnt get it.
i would also use vinegar if the stains are on the outside.... but if you do, you will need to rewax- cause the vinegar will eat your wax.

Is there a trick to using vinegar? I tried that on the Prelude and it didn't do squat, except make it taste better.

Gotcha. I tried straight white vinegar and it didn't phase the spots. But, as they suggest, the next resort of using polish(Zaino) and a buffer worked like a charm.
