Water Spot
When i went out today, i found my car was fully covered with water spot , due to my car was parked under the sun and black color, the water has been here for a while so they already dry... . I just knew the water was spraying from a lare garden next to my apartment because of windy Then i washed my car immediately,,, i did used the car shampoo already, but still, i was unable to remove the water spot.
Do u guy know how to remove water spot????

you could have a much bigger problem than you realize since the water spots got sun... a good recipe for possible clear coat etch (depending on the chemicals in the water).
first step, on a clean car, is to use a detailers spray...
if that doesnt work, then take some distilled vinegar on a rag to a small area of the spots. if this works, then expand the area to the entire area that has spots.
if it doesnt work, its cause you have an etched clear coat. the only way to fix that is with a good polish.
try the detailers spray and/or vinegar first and post back whether it worked. if it does, then rewash the car after the vinegar and then rewax it too, cause the vinegar will do a nice job of removing it all!!
(good luck!!)

I had a friend who was a water specialist with the dept of agriculture. He had the same problem and couldn't get rid of the spots. The next time it rained on his car the spots were gone. It seems soaking in rain water (soft water) did the trick.
Hope rain is in your forecast!

i think that it depends on whats in the water, or on the car...
i would take a more aggressive approach- if you have certain chemicals on the car and they stay they will eventually etch (eat) the clearcoat. if this happens before the next rain, the clear is damaged and rain wont fix it.

Yea, i love to wash my car on a raining day... Coz the rain water (not the acid rain)is very natural and clean when compare to the dirty hard water in my city...sometime i even see the water come from the tap is like milky color . i know after i washed my car on a rainy day, my car was especially clear and shine...
Unfortunately, IN CA, raining is not often...about 10 to 15 days only from winter to spring ,so i can't wait until the next rain, may be few months later
What is detailer spray? Can i buy it from auto zone?
