washing oem cover
Will the oem cover fit in a at home washing machine? The covercraft folks inform me none of their indoor covers (dustop, etc) will. They all require commerial size machines. I want one that I can wash at home. Any info?

the oem cover instructions say it wont fit in a home machine. i guess it depends on the size of your machine.
i will say this, however.... the OEM cover fits like a glove. very impressed (just put it on the other day for the first time)

i have two of them, i like them so much!
they are really more like dust covers, cause they are not water proof.
anyway, you should use a commercial machine, so you dont mess up the motor on the home unit. that said, i have a heavy duty machine at home that i use...
and have had to have the motor fixed once in the past 4 years.
most laudromats have large capacity machines.

The Fantastik that they recommend is indeed the same fantastik that you but at any supermarket, I just called Cal. Car Cover ( they recommend using Fantastik for all their covers ) and I was told that there is only one FANTASTIK and it is what is used for cleaning car covers. save your money on shipping, go to the local grocery store.
