Sorry to be dense, but I'm just not sure that the Fantastik I've looked up is the right stuff. I went to www.fantastik.com and saw a number of spray products. These included such items as Fantastik with Bleach, antibacterial lemon, oxy power, orange, etc. Are any of these the correct product to use washing the OEM car cover?

Thanks for the replies.
I have successfully washed my OEM cotton cover numerous times after reading instructions included with product:
1. The "biggest" commercial machine in DIY laundry
2. I use 2 cups of Fantastik (the whole spray bottle).
3. Cold water (to reduce risk of shrinkage). I do not think warm water is necessary for this job.
4. I use the centrifuge

I wasn't using enough then.

Hey guys -
I just bought a used OEM car cover on eBay, and it didn't come with the washing/care instructions. Does anyone know where I could download a PDF of it?
Thanks!

Just use Woolite and it will be fine. Approx. one quarter cup to a wash, and hang dry outside if possible.

After all, it's just a piece of fabric ...

Just make sure you use those "side loading" washing machines, and not the ones that you load from the top. The ones that load from the top have a thing in the middle, which may damage your car cover when it's twisting around.
FYI, the "thing in the middle" is called an agitator.
