Washing the bottom (chassis) of the car
A long time now I wanted to wash the bottom of the car. I went to a car wash shop who had a ramp to lift it and do this job They told me they will put a special foam for few minutes that removes all the crap things and after jet wash it. So I have a few questions if you could help me.
1)Obviously this foam will be a sort of chemical. Is there at the bottom of the car any vulnerable part and I shouldn

I would use a citrus cleaner of some sort. If not, maybe just go over your rubber bushings and CV boots when done to clean off any remaining cleaning agent.

Thank you guys for all your replies.
So if i understood right the best thing to do is not to leave them use this foam but only if it is not too strong or use only jet wash with water and afterwards use an undercoating stuff and the rubber protectant for the rubber bushings and the CV boots. Is that right?
Thank you
Chris

A better product for conditioning the rubber boots and suspension bushings would be some 3M silicon sealant spray. A member by the name of Road Rage posted up a DIY/How-To for Chassis Lubrication as far as what to clean and lube up.

I can find roadrage's DIY. I'm sure several products would work well. I think I'm going to use the 3M rubber dressing. Maybe the same product you're thinking of. Seems like it's specifically designed for this use.
