Default Wash and Waxing

So, I just bought my new 50 inch plasma, with a glossy border around it (Gotta love Pioneer....), and I was wanting to protect it from scratches and stuff, nothing major. Just looking for Idea's. I was thinking about some JS109 maybe, and a few coats of wax, to help it repel anything from inside the house, and maybe give it a little protection... Any other idea's?

any wax is gonna attract dust like no other, protection against scratches isnt going to come from waxes

I think its painted plastic, black with possibly clear coat.

I might sound like a wacko. All my MP3, PSP, XM Player screens are covered with 4 layers of Synthetic wax and it works wounders. Especially on the touch screen mp3 player I have.

I am very picky about details, My Pioneer head unit comes off once every 3 months, gets treated with Plastci-X and then 2 layers of Synthetic Wax. Same goes for my S2000 Gauges.

It is over 2 years old and looks brand new...

As long as It's synthetic you should be able to get away with protecting your TV edge with it!

I would assume black plastic... put a coat of P21S on it, and it's even sexier now. Might do some synthetics in about a month and 1/2, when I get back home. Any more Ideas?

Since you want to kick it up a notch, try using sealant?

or why not a synthetic topped by p21s?!
(in the old days we used p21s over zaino to get rid of zaino's dust collecting capabilities)
