Default wash mitt and applicator pad help

hey guys, does a synthetic wash mitt scratch the paint on a car? is the sheep skin wash mitts better and will it not scratch the paint? also does the foam applicator pads scratch the paint as well? i have a mircofiber applicator pad which i use with zaino and was wondering if the foam one is better for carnuba waxes like s100.
thanks in advance.

read this towards the bottom of the page ("biggest losers"):

so yes, lambswool is better, imo.
i usually use the applicator pad that comes with the carnuba- p21s does have a foam type pad that i like. but i have also applied it with the pc.
