Well here's your guy...
The most expensive car wash in the world : theCHIVE
Paul Wilkins is 34 years old and offers rich car collectors a one-of-a-kind service…the ultimate car wash. For $150,000 Paul personally travels to anywhere in the world to polish cars by hand until they are picture perfect. Paul markets his rare service under the name, “The Ultimate Shine” and has only about three customers a year although he is certainly making enough money considering. You’re probably thinking “this can’t be true”, right?
Wilkins says. “I’m usually dealing with serious car collectors who have temperature-controlled showrooms, so I travel to wherever they are kept.
Paul begins the cleaning process by decontaminating the body of the car and the wheels. Next, he machine polishes every bit of bodywork taking out any defects, a laborious process that can take up to a month. The dedicated car cleaner says he might have to go over it hundreds of time to make sure to make sure it’s completely clear of any marks. Once that’s done with, he will go over the bodywork with a special alcoholic cleaning agent to ensure there are no oily stains left on the paint. Finally, it’s time for the waxing. The Ultimate Shine owner uses a special Carnauba wax which has been gathered from one of the tallest trees in a secret location in Brazil, priced at £65,000 ($100,000). His company offers different types of this luxury wax for every season, each designed to protect the car against any element.

Proportionally its about the same as you spending $300+ on a detail for your $15,000 Honda. If you had a car or cars worth millions or dollars I would want to know I had the best out there and if this guy really does spend months with the car and he travels all over that price doesn't seem that insane. This is obviously geared at those incredibly rare and valuable cars that require the absolute best care and attention.

No, it's not. The car would have to cost $7.5 million for that to be true. The car shown is well under $750k, so you're off by more than factor of ten. It's like getting a $4,000 detail for a $15,000 car.

if you check his page, he does all sorts of different level washes from 50 pounds up. so its not like you have to buy the craziest shit. the most expensive wash on his page is about 900 usd. the ultimate package he offers where he flys to the location, stays for months at a time and restors the car to like new conditions is a crazy amount of dedication and if the customer has a 30 million dollar car, its no different than me paying 90 bucks for a crazy ass detail on my 18k S2000.
