There will definitely be a car wash area at the hotel. At the car wash area you will be provided with:

-hose
-spray nozzle
-bucket
-car wash soap (I'm pushing for Megs Gold Class from Costco)
-either sponges or wash mitts (not sure which will be there yet)
-a drying aparatus (likely there will be some Absorbers available)

I'm sorry that the details of the washing area are a little hazy, but we haven't hammered them out 100% yet.

As for . . .

-303
-wheel cleaner
-wheel shine (do you mean tire shine or tire dressing?)
-vinegar
-towels
-etc, etc

You'll have to bring your own. However, car wash soap makes a great wheel cleaner. Just throw your favorite wheel brushes in the trunk and you'll be all set! Also, I'm not sure what you use the vinegar for. Do you eat a salad while car washing? I could bring the olive oil.

On a very serious note, we ask that none of the Nor'Easter participants use the towels from the hotel to clean/wash/dry their cars. Thanks!!

Car wash, polishes, glazes, liquid sealants, masking tape, tools, tire gloss, metal polish, leather conditioner, glass polish, and a bunch more. Very little space, maximum usefulness

Great idea! I usually just use an automotive glass cleaner. I think I have 4 or 5 different ones on the shelf right now. Let's see if I can remember them all . . .

-Invisible Glass (aerosol can)
-Invisible Glass (pump spray bottle)
-Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner
-Sprayway Glass Cleaner
-Eimann Fabrik Glass Cleaner

They're all pretty good class cleaners in their own way. Typically though, I just use them for the inside of the window. Washing & drying the outside glass with the rest of the car seems to do a great job.

[QUOTE=MikeyC,Jul 15 2006, 09:56 PM]I also still need to proof read everything and do a little bit of cleanup editing.

Hey MikeyC, Thanks for spending so much of your time putting together such a comprehensive detailing guide ... I look forward to picking up a copy at the NorEaster.
No problem! It's up over 70 pages now.

It's been a lot of hard work putting this book together, but I think people will enjoy it.
