Default Used my Christmas presents today

I guess the intimidation is over. This is the first time I've let myself really mess with a black car. I'm going to take the wheels off again tomorrow until my suspension goodies get here. That's why I didn't spend much time on them (ok, no time). I did clean and wax the stockies though, they're going back on tomorrow.

Before:

After:

And a few more:

It's almost completely gone. If you really get down on it and look for it, you can just make it out. You wouldn't see it unless you already knew it was there.... and even then, you really have to look hard. I'm going to order some medium polishing compound and use it with my yellow pad to see if I can get rid of it all together. I'm sure I could get it out with the fine compound, but this gives me an excuse to put in another order of stuff (you can't just order one thing ya know).

I'm jealous of the shirt-off detail in December. It's 27 degrees here this monring.

Hawaii does have it's charms. It was in the 80s, slightly overcast.

I just took a picture of the truck for ya. No more scratch.

:edit: the little specks are just some fuzz from the car cover.
