Hi guys,
Sorry if this has already been discussed but......
Airgate and I were talking the other night about the rear window. We looked at his window and it was crystal clear. He told me that he uses a generic car wax to clean the window with every other wash.
Q: Anybody use a wax or polish...specifically the Zaino Z1, Z2, or Z5 on the rear window? If so, does it work well? My window looks OK using the Plexus, but I need to do more.

...Zaino is not a wax, I would contact Sal before applying it to plastic, especially since it apparently bonds to surfaces.
Until then use Plexus, and/or normal Carnuba.

Yeah I know, I've used Zaino since last year when I got my car.
I was referring generally to all car wax/polishes since airgate used a store-bought product which he couldn't remember the name of.

Whilst on the subject of waxing the rear window, I received my Zymol Screen Clean kit yesterday. (Yes I use and love Zymol - sorry!)
I was mildly surprised when I opened it up, the "Screen and Lens Clean" really does look and smell identical to their HD Cleanse and the wax seems to be very similar to their Carbon or Cream wax.
I'm sure it will do the job as I find Zymol products to be very good and this particular pack is supposed to be expressly designed for plastic windows in convertible roofs.
Basically then, if Zymol supply a Carnuba wax based product for protecting & polishing rear windows I guess it is safe to use a wax on them, provided it doesn't contain Petroleum etc.
