Can anyone explain how to remove the flex plate?

i have not used the udm, but am replying to move this back up...

did the machine come with a "wrench"? the pc has one and you use it to take off the pads/ plates, etc.

lets make sure that we are talking about the same part...

a flexplate, as far as i know, is just a part that pads velcro to-

is this what you are talking about?

Sorry for the confusion wanabe. We are talking about the same thing. The flexplate is riveted to a round metal disc, like the one in the picture link. That disc is threaded into the hex shaped shaft.

From that picture, I saw that the disc has a threaded end. I am assuming that if I put a wrench on the hex shaped shaft, and then spin the flexplate, it will loosen and come off.
