Trying to get off
I recently took off my s2000 emblem and there is still a slight shadow on the paint. I was wondering what the best thing to get it off would be. I was thinking some kind of compound followed by wax. Any help I would be appreciated. Thanks

could be sun fade... but since its on the side of the car, its worth trying to get it.
my first choice would be a paint cleaner or swirl remover- on a clean car you would use the pc and work the area really well. if that helps but doesnt cure, then i would try a fine cut compound. i would back down to the swirl remover after the f.c.
if this doesnt change it, your next step is a rubbing compound which will be eating clear coat . so you have a choice as to eat the clear coat, live with it or replace the badges. i am wondering what it looks like. might be kinda cool to have the s2000 very subtly into the paint??
i assume that you cant photo it?

I had this same problem, there's nothing you can do about it. I tried all kinds of stuff at the detail shop I work at. Also it does not look cool, but is hardly noticable unless you are in the perfect lighting and less than five feet away.
