Tarminator and plastic razor blades, or 3M Adhesive Remover.
Adhesive Remover
Plastic Razor Blades
Or you can use a heat gun to soften it, spray it with IPA and wipe off with a MF towel.

my fav odd product for this problem is smooth peanut butter !!
mayonaise gets my second choice for odd product solutions.
warm it a bit, slather it on, let it sit (some guys tell me that they use a hairdryer to warm and soften the sap with the products on). try to keep it on the sap with minimal amounts on the top (to avoid staining- usually not an issue, but always best to be careful). once soft, remove slowly (an old credit card can be helpful), repeat until gone.
slanguage has a more traditional approach- that 3m stuff is good - i mask the areas that i want to keep it off of (an old sheet is good for this).
no matter what, its not a "quick fix"- take your time to avoid damage to your top.

My first choice would be a mechanic's waterless hand cleaner: GoJo, etc. The old-school smelly stuff, not the orange-scented crap. (Please, no pumice on paint.)
You've got it around the garage already; it's not too harsh (you use it on your hands); it dissolves grease, tar, sap, etc. It's water soluble, so you can rinse the residue off with water. It's thick enough to cling to a vertical surface overnight if needed.
