Just try color X with a cheap $30 buffer man, or by hand. It's not rocket science plus satisfaction that you get from it is worth every second.
Professional detail = $100 MINIMUM and most likely all youll see is buffere holograms because they don't know what they are doing
ColorX + $30 Buffer is less than $50. No suprise dings, no chance of burning the paint, and no head aches after the shop messed some thing up and now you have the get the money abck from them if not new car. LOL
Or go to Wash & Wax gurus in your neigborhood. They will charge you $300 to $700 for full detail some maybe less and it will look better then when it was new.

90% of the shine comes from prep work. You could spend $20 or $500 for a wax, but it isn't going to be squat without proper paint prep.

Hmm, so you want the car to look better than new ... just use the products recommended in this detailing account, applied, of course with the same passion, patience, and care. 
BTW, Americans can now order a jar of Swissvax Crystal Rock at the bargain price of $1,100.
As for me, I'm going to stick with Meguiar's NXT and M26.
