Top Hand Wax
Looking to get some micro scratches and a couple deeper scratches out of my clear coat along with wanting to bring back the new car shine. I have used Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax in the past and really didn't see much of a difference. I don't have a polisher so I will be applying/removing the wax by hand.
Do you wash and wax gurus have a preference on what type of wax would be optimal for my situation?
Thanks!

Based on what I have used in the past:
Wet Obsession
Lusso Oro (still don't get the hype)
Z*mol Titanium
Z*mol Glasur (very nice)
I have more than this, but these are my best ones in my cabinet. I have about a dozen waxes!!

Generally no. Whichever one you purchase, read the instructions to better understand how long to leave on the wax before removing. Make sure you have a high quality MF towel to remove the wax with as well.

Swissvax Concorso by hand is so easy to use it's crazy. It's by far my favorite wax. I've tried over 5 carnuba's so far, all by different companies and Swissvax is by far the best so far.

the majority of people apply wax by hand, so you don't have to worry about not having a polisher for that step. however, what kind of micro scratches are we talking about? are these scene under the sun or under some halogens? someone correct me if i am wrong, but waxes will probably just fill these scratches rather than correct them. to do this, you would need to add a polish with some sort of abrasive.

You'll need to remove those scratches if you don't want them to be seen. True waxes aren't going to help as they have no fillers or abrasives.
Also keep in mind that most of the shine people get out of their cars is due to the polishing steps. The reduction of spider webs, swirls and scratches makes your paint appear wet and give the paint depth. The LSP (Last Stage Product like natural carnauba wax and synthetic polymer like NXT) adds only 5-10% to the overall appearance. After a good polish it should like like your car doesn't need wax.

You looking for Cleaner Wax for hand application.
Meguiars Color X is the next step... all it is, is even stronger Cleaner Wax.
Post that if it's not working that well go with ScratchX... that is a bit more tough to work with though.
