Thanks, I am going for the cleanest stock MY01 Silverstone around. There are not that many AP1's that are left that way. Here is a pic of the engine bay:

Eww too greasey engine bay. I find a once over spray and then using a junk microfiber to remove excess and redistribute to other areas (battery, hoses) is the best way to get a decent shine on an engine bay. I just can't stand when it has an overly greasey wet look to it.
Mine prior to selling, Megs APC + CD2:

The valve cover shouldn't have a wet look to it, just a clean look
Could of used more attention to detail though on mine, I just did a quick detail on the car. If I took the microfiber and got more on to the fuse box and all I could have removed the dust and make a good clean look

That picture was taken during the process and before the wipe down. It looked much more like a matte finish afterward. I wouldn't keep it that greasy/shiny.

Good job, the car looks nice and the engine bay is very clean. Just as long as the valve cover isnt that greasy looking afterwards your good.

I usually wax on then off per panel...didn't know you could do the whole car at once

Did you happen to clay the car?
