Tiny tiny scratches in finish?
I wash my car using a wash mit and wax it with Meguiar's Gold Class.
I've noticed that if I look at the finish at certain angles in direct sunlight it appears that there are tiny tiny scratches, I'm not sure if those are scratches in the wax coat or in the actual clear coat? Anybody experience this?

yup, zich has it right!
3m swirl remover is the tool if you want to remove the swirls. best with a porter cable and used front to back top surfaces first (may not need to do anything else). do the top, inspect and then do only what else is needed.

YIKES!!! If you MUST use cotton towels, don't use the cheap ones!!!!!!! Get "fluffier" towels like Fieldcrest etc. Costs more, but what would be the cost of fixing paint scratches??
Use microfibers. Fluffy ones. Any good online car care store sells them. Chamois is an outdated drying instrument. Use The Absorber or the Big Blue drying towel if you want something cheaper, better, easier.

You can get the 3m almost anywhere on the web - search for 3m Swirl remover on yahoo. Be aware that the 3m is abrasive and takes off some of your clear coat so if you are going to use it don't use it often - I would say wait till the swirls get bad enough that you can't stand em!
I have the same problem on my Berlina. Unfortunately I am gonna suck it up at least 6 months then maybe buy a porter cable and when I re-Zainofy the car use the 3m beforehand.
