its more of a clicking/popping noise right? well that noise didn't go away even after i sprayed the pivot joints with white lithium grease. my 03 with only 6k miles does it, and so does my friends brand new 04 with 200 miles. i guess its normal, and you're just going to need to get to it. convertible tops are naturally noisy.

or you can get it from Hardtopguy for $11 US (or is that equal to $26 CA )

first time i went to the parts dept of the honda dealer to get a tube and the guy looks it up-
turns to me and says- "no one should have to pay that much for some grease"!!
he walked me over to the service manager and told them to put a note in my file that every time my car comes in (about once a year), the mechanics should apply some at no charge. i am sure the service guy just loved this!
(but i did- that is the right way to treat a customer!)
