Default Temporary Bumper Protection

Hey Guys,
I have a friend who is getting an 05 s2000. He has to drive down to oxnard and pick up the car and it is about four hours from his town. He is plannin on getting the clearbra as soon as he gets it back from the dealer, but is worried about getting chips in his bumper on the way back because there has been a lot of road construction. I was wondering if there was any special tape anyone uses for auto-crosses that could be applied to the bumper to protect it for the drive back. Your advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

You could tape up the front end with that blue painter's tape. Should peel off easily and do a decent job of protecting the front end from light chips. Double or triple it up if he's really worried, or use it to tape down something heavier (bubble wrap?)...

Just make sure it's on there securely and get ready for strange looks and comments Four hours is a bit of a drive.

Painters tape definitely the way to go. It holds up well on track 4 hours on the freeway no problem.
