The voice of dissent here...

Yes Zaino is a great product, but not worth the extra time or money in my opinion.

I like Klasse all-in-one topped with P21S

my S is just two weeks old ... I had read alot about Zaino in my Miata days and again here on S2Ki...

well I'm going to try it for my S...

I had to go pick it up today - Zaino doesn't ship within NJ ... 110 miles round trip - 75 & sunny going down ... 70 and a bit cloudy coming back up ... perfect!

I went with... (straight from the Forum)
ZFX accelerant
Z2 Clear coat Polish (you can swap Z2 for Z5 if you want to save $; see next)
Z5 Swirl Remover & Polish (especially if you have a dark car; you can sub Z5 for Z2 if you want to save $)
Z6 Gloss Enhancer & Quick Detail Spray
Z7 Car Wash

hopefully I'll be able to make the time this weekend to give it the treatment and I'll report back.

Question:
given the car is two weeks old (750 miles) should I just wash it down with Dawn prior to Zaino treatment? Anything else recommended?

thanks
Nate

How much for all that? That's what I'll get too (plus clay bar). Did it come with applicators, or what kind are you gonna use?)

PICS when you do it!!!

You should probably clay bar it. Even new paint can have lots of contaminents in it.

What a day of torture you have in for you! :-D Post your results when you're done!

This is my car after clay bar application and six coats of hand applied Meguiar's Gold Class, purchased at Pep Boys. The whole secret to reflectivity is paint prep (polish), not wax. Zaino and NXT would have looked slightly better, but what was that you were saying about mirrors...?

I literally have people ask me what color my car is once every 4-5 weeks (most guess sky-colored). How's that for shine?

My car had only 1-2,000 miles at that point so the finish was mirror-like after just the one clay bar application. The Gold Class just added some protection and oils to feed the paint and give it a little deeper, richer color.
