Swirls and colorful specs in the windshield

unless you had windshield tear-offs like in NASCAR or touring car racing (which would be quite impractical and expensive) there really isn't anything we can do...the poeople that don't have this on their windshield prob don't have enough miles on the car or just don't realize it

I have it and kinda hate it when I'm driving directly into the the sun but I live with it...prob would try a glass polisher sometime in the future...also gonna run it by Safe Lite glass repair and see what they recommend...I'm sure there's a downside to polishing too (ie: swirls or something like it)...can't hurt to ask however

I tried polishing my windshield a bit and I haven't been able to get any improvement yet. I used cerium oxide and Griot's felt glass polishing pads. I did about 25 section passes on 6 with a PC using a good amount of pressure. I'll try it again when it gets warmer.
