It wasn't so much a swirl mark as it was a long thin "scratch". Not a scratch in the paint but more of an indention in the clear coat. Definitely noticeable sitting in the garage under normal lighting. After the Z5 I could not see it anymore.
My Stook doesn't have swirl marks that I can see. But it is silver which hides this kind of problem very well.

CRitchie: Yes, silver or any metalic paint, in fact, makes it a lot harder to spot the swirl marks. But again, with the right lighting (mid-day sun) they are there. I have a free weekend coming up. I will repeat the Zaino thing again.
Luder94: From what I read about Meguiars Swirl Remover, I understand that it is a mild abrasive. Is that correct? I may need that down the road.
mdigrappa: Exactly what do you use?

The following tip is taken from Zaino's website and it may eliminate the swirl marks.
Want an even higher level of optical light refraction and reflectivety. Here's how. When applying Show Car Polish do the following; On all Top surfaces of vehicle, use a back and forth motion (from front bumper towards windshield). On all Side surfaces (doors, fenders, etc.) use a vertical motion, up and down. This technique will increase the way light attracts and reflects off of Show Car Polish. The body lines and contours of your vehicle will seem to glow. This trick really works. Remember to use Z-6 "Gloss Enhancer" spray between every coat of Show Car Polish.
