I have black and I found that the Chamois didn't work very well, leaving streaks on the car. If you are carefull wit the blade, it is both the fastest and easiest way to dry the car along with the MF towel. I dont like rubbing leather on my paint, leaves too may streaks on black cars.

i have used the blade (still use it on my cars that i am not as picky about) and the chamois...
the blade has caused scratches (not just swirls) when my daughter used it (she dropped it and did not clean it good).
my car is over 2 and a half years old and just beginning to show a few swirls. it has been chamoised since the beginning (as have my prior show cars).
any tool can cause swirls or scratches if not used properly. the chamois must be softened before use (wetted until soft).
as i said above, it is my preference after trying every other tool available on a variety of cars (including show cars).
