stains on recently installed clear bra

o.k.- now that its gonna be replaced anyway, try out some of the aggressive suggestions above.
you will want to know how to deal with this if it happens again!!

If you had a Porter Cable, a yellow pad will get it out...as well as deswirl it

The guy who did the work on the bra called the distributor and the distributor told him to try Paint Thinner. He put some on a rag and started to rub the stain out but no luck there either. The shop guy said you can't be too rough with the clear bra or else it'll stretch. It really looks like the gunk reacted with the plastic and some how stained it. I don't think any cleaners will get rid of the stain. But I'll ask for the flim after he takes it off and try experimenting from there. Thanks for the replies!

I would give wd-40 a try. I had luck with it helping take out bug stains, then I used some Folex to get the rest out. What brand film did they use on your car?

on the same topic... there is nothing that I have found and tried to remove embedded water spots off the film
