Spring Cleaning
...after much procrastination, I'm finally able to post these pictures.
After owning my S for nearly a year and lurking this forum for the same amount of time, I've learned a lot about how to keep your 'baby' as clean as possible. The one thing that always haunted me were those damn swirls that had been in the finish since I bought the car used last summer. Now I know how many on the board feel about doing it yourself, but conditions exsisted that didn't make that possible for me (ie, owning a buffer, having a garage, or experience.) So I went to a detail shop near my work and chatted with the owner to get that oh-so-comfortable feeling before handing over my baby. The results are pictured below and I am extremely pleased.
After having this done, I immediately applied a couple coats of Z2 with Z6 applied after each coat. Then, after a couple weeks, I applied a couple coats of P21S. The pictures should speak for themselves.
