Default Spray on/Peel off paint protection

SPRAY ON PAINT PROTECTOR

Not sure how well this stuff works but it's a neat idea. Only problem I see with it is the only color it comes in is black. On a berlina car you would never even know it's there unless you got up close to the car. Once your done, peel it off until the next time.

Also, you have to make sure the surface is clean and dry before using it. Not sure how long you can keep it on your paint either.

For all but black cars, this product looks pretty tacky. (No pun intended. )

I think it would be good for any color car when taking a long drive.. I posted a link to it for the Mid-A Caravan to the Dragon yesterday .

hmmm... interesting. I may order a can and test this out on a throwaway panel here at work. It suggests spraying to 1/8" thinckness. How many coats is that, do you think?

I've taped our cars up in the past for caravans and this would be a lot easier.

Not to mention that it's griot's. So at least you know it's coming from a very respected company.

I'll do it.

I've set aside a scrap bumper here at the shop. I'll order some of the spray material this weekend and do a test patch.

I could probably stand back and throw rocks at it to see how protective it is.

Watch for a report with pics after they ship it to me.

Planning on ordering a can of this material today. Griot's website is down for maintenance right now.

Hope to do some sort of test this weekend.

EDIT Just ordered a can. I'll report back after I receive it.
