Default Spray Paint on my hood..

Some loser kids spray painted a big black X on my brothers white Expedition.. What is the best way to get it off?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

bodyshop - wetsand using 1200 to 2000 grit paper

or it appears like a complete re-painting of the hood.

No need for that. Most good cleaner waxes will do it and a claybar will most defintely take it off. Claybars were originally made for cleaning overspray so it should defintelytake care of it for you.

Edit I have used both to take spray paint off of vehicles with no harm done.
