Coffee Stain Removal-The degree of removal is going to depend on a couple of things-
a) Coffee contain tannins are a strong natural dye.
b) Coffee with cream, milk is protein based and may take a specialized protein 'digester' to eliminate, Protein Stain Remover HT-67 (http//:www.topoftheline.com)
c) Usually coffee is hot when spilled; hot tannin soaks in deep and sets semi-permanently.

when my older brother spilled a big gulp cola in the car back when we were in High school we used my moms vacume cleaner that shampoos the carpet. It took it all out and cleaned it up nice. You could try something like that.

first of all, was the coffee black? or were you a superstar that mixed everyones beverage to their likings? Sugar and or Cream/Milk changes things a little bit.
Aside from what you've already done, I would include club soda. Scrub the carpet with the club soda and a brush (maybe one thats used for rims). A small shop vac should then be used to pull up any excess moisture. Lastly i would put the top down and blast a fan on the wet/damp area (as wontone said). If there isn't much humidity where you live it should be dry in a couple of hours!

Hey everyone, thanks for the responses. The carpet is still damp after two days.. I'm going to go at it again with the extractor and shop vac.
And for the record, I WAS a superstar. I had frapps in there.. a caramel macchiato, and a white mocha

sounds like you have it under control though. If you have the time, it sure wouldn't hurt to remove the passenger side carpet for a solid clean and to make sure there is no moisture rusting out your floor boards.

That's what I'm worried about the most. Carpet? can be replaced relatively easy. But the floor boards? Well.. I don't even want to THINK about have to go there..
