Well was at a bar last night and parked my car in front. Came out to see a cig but was put out on my hood by some douche.
So there is a burn mark there now.
I can't feel it though so should that come out if I get an exterior detail with scratch and swirl removal?

yes, if you cant feel it, theres a good chance it can come out. best bet is to try a clay bar first. much cheaper than a full detail. Worst case scenario is that it may have burnt and permantly discolored the clear coat.

Take it to Andrew . If he can't get it out he will tell you and then you'd either have to live with it or get it painted.

Yeah annoying people do that crap but oh well. Could have done much worse thing to it since the top was down as well.


Yeah doing some updates on my site at the moment and taking longer than I thought to get it back up and running.



I want a detail anyways so gonna go to either Andrew or Mike who is NJ and easier to get to for a detail soon I think.

On a side note, I used to bar-tend for many years, NEVER EVER park your car in front of a busy restaurant/bar. People puke, lean, fight, and flick right in the front, and your car will certainly catch the short end of that stick.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't. It's a small local bar where normally know most the people and all and have parked in there tons of times with no issues but guess it just takes 1 douchebag to make me not park there anymore.
Hopefully it will come out. My hood is not perfect or anything anyways but a burn mark is def more noticeable than a scratch!
Never had a single detail before and had the car for 3 years now so probably due for one anyways!!
