Simple solution to caked wax in your "H" emblems: I finally "mod'd" my car 3 weeks ago, after nearly a year of ownership, when I pried off my "S2000" and "H" emblems and replaced them with the smoked ones.
Since the smoked "H" emblems are completely coated in an epoxy resin type of material, you won't get wax caked into the nooks and crannies of the H. Excellent. Plus they look good too.
