Soft Top Re-conditioned to black
A few weeks ago I ripped the rear windo putting it up . I replaced the window but I noticed the top was faded and did not match the new window. So I got to reading on diffrent cleaners and solvents I could use to restore my top to black. here is what I came up with ...... NOTHING....... all the products I found on line were extreamly expensive. Wll I had an extra top so I figured I would try somthing I heard at auto x last week.... It was maguires leather cleaner and conditioner. Now I know they tell you that you are going to destroy the top and its going to dry all white and rip your top but again I had nothing to loose bc I had an extra top. So I gave it a shot.... And it is the best thing ive ever used. It doesnt dry white it wipes on clean it leaves no greasy looking spots and blends absolutly perfectly with the factory honda rear windo I got.... GO GET IT.. you wont be dissapointed again its Maguires Leather Cleaner and Conditioner has anyone else used anything they have had great results with??

With a leather cleaner and conditioner? I'd say consider the source. Whoever says that doesn't know what they're talking about. Conditioners for leather aren't going to provide any benefit for the vinyl but they won't destroy it. Even leather cleaners won't destroy it.

its $50 bucks if you want to get the 303 cleaner plus the 303 protectant?? Do I need both of them? Which one is it that give the top that new black finish? I'm guessing its the protectant.

Was at the Spring Fling 2013,this week-end;my room was on the 5th floor.
Looking at all the S parked side by side,my top looked grayish, compared to the others,even-though I treat it with 303,once a month.
On a blue S,parked by my side, the top looked like black velvet.
What can I do,to make it look like that???
