So I want to use zaino
I want to use zaino on my s (and my other cars) and I would like to know what to use and how. I searched and even went to the zaino FAQ but I would really appreciate if someone can help me. I want to use zaino to make the car look really really great, but I don't want to spend hours and hours doing it. I know that I have to buy z1 and the z7 car wash, but I don't know what the whole process is. Can someone please help a newbie out. I would really really appreciate it very very much. You can post here or PM me.

the most basic:
wash your car with dawn soap detergent (this is first time only!)
z1 (follow directions on bottle)
then
z2
imo, thats enough to get you hooked... after the above you will be back asking what's next!

The introduction of ZFX has made it unnessary to use the Z1. This cuts the time of wax by alot cause you don't have to spend hours waiting to apply additional coats. If your car has no need for a clay bar, then wash it with the Z-7, then apply the ZFX with Z-2 or Z-5. This will get the job done. All waxes take some time but this one is worth it...

and you dont have to wait for z1 to dry either... by the time you finish z1, you can apply z2.
it is a personal choice-
if you want to apply several coats of z2 at once without curing then the zfx is the way to go.

You should really check the library. There's all kinds of neat stuff in there, including this:

What's the big deal with reading the instructions? They are written in English. If you want the results, you have to spend a little time reading the application instructions and tips on the zaino web site. IMHO, its the best, but if you aren't willing to spend 20 or 30 minutes to understand how to use it, or if you want great results but don't want to take the time to do it right, then just buy a good wax like Meguires and move on. If you screw up mixing or applying Zaino, I don't imagine the results would be that good, anyhow.
